VetBoogie 2024: Skydiving Community for Veterans and Service Members

We are thrilled to announce that Cleared Hot is hosting the annual VetBoogie, a skydiving event that brings together veterans and active service members for two days of camaraderie and celebration. This year’s event will take place on November 16-17 in Eloy, Arizona.

What is the VetBoogie?

The VetBoogie is more than just a skydiving event; it’s a gathering dedicated to fostering a sense of community among those who have served.

Last year, we had the honor of hosting 55 veterans and active service members for a full day of skydiving. This year, we’re expanding the event to two days, allowing even more participants to experience the thrill of skydiving.

Who Can Participate?

The VetBoogie is open to veterans and active service members from any branch of the defense establishment, including NATO and Five Eyes
countries. Whether you’re a seasoned skydiver or a first-timer, there’s a place for you at VetBoogie.

Do I Need a Skydiving License?

Yes, participants will need a USPA A license or equivalent to jump. For those who are not licensed, we will be offering tandem jumps with limited spots available.

Equipment and Accommodations

Rig Rentals: Available through Square2 on the drop zone. These rentals are first-come, first-served, with no reservations.
Accommodations: Skydive Arizona offers a variety of options, including team room rentals, on-site camping, and individual bed rentals in the bunkhouse.

Event Sign-Up

Sign-up for VetBoogie is currently open but limitted to 50 licensed jump spots and 10 tandems. More spots will be made available funding dependent. Stay tuned for updates and make sure to secure your spot!

Load Organizers and Packers

We will have a variety of load organizers to accommodate all skill levels and promote a fun, learning environment. Packers are available for hire throughout the event.

Food and Amenities

The Bent Prop offers a menu for lunch and supper, with Saturday’s supper provided by the VetBoogie.

VetBoogie Raffle and Fundraising

We are excited to launch our fundraising initiative on September 13 through the Cleared Hot website. We have an array of awesome merchandise, including patches, tees, hoodies, flags, stickers, jerseys,
and skateboard decks. Each dollar spent on VetBoogie merchandise counts as one entry into the VetBoogie raffle, which will take place live from Eloy on Nov 16th.
